Helps to keep your local medical provider open and in theory keeps your state taxes down. Abuse or just smart financial management? If the system allows it, never leave money on the table.

did not understand>>> the additional tax would allow them to get more reimbursement from the feds. say the amb costs $100 and they get reimbursed at 80% they get $80 from the feds. If they add a $20 tax it becomes $120 so they get reimbursed $96 from the feds
