Windows 7 is now 15 years old, and 5 years past its "End of Life". Does it still "work"? Yes, of course it does...

... with a couple of caveats and warnings.

That said, I have a virtual machine (VM) of Win7 that I use for certain older programs. I DO NOT use it for going on the internet.

What about running it in virtual machine only when online?

Woops- i shoudla kept reading lol- why not use it online? The snapshots in Vm should protect it if it becomes infected- and once you disconnect, you can revert to earlier time quickly- are there more dangers liek viruses breaking through VM’s and infection the host?
