Get another ‘69 GTO and rest mod it with a modernized Ram Air V (600 - 800 hp on pump gas). Screw the Vettes, they’re far from unique. Noe that I had a ‘69, and my father had an ‘86 Vette that I drove a lot.
69 GTO was definitely a classic, mine was red, black interior buckets with a 4 speed. My mother borrowed it one day, her car was hard down. Said the GTO was obnoxiously loud. Found out she drove it to town and never got out of 2nd...... 😡😡😡 Wasn’t a long or fast drive but the loudness made sense. Had the Thrush glass packs back then.
