Yeah I was just about to mention that. My mom buys her eggs from Trader Joes, its always 3.99 same as in Whole Foods..my sister on the other hand goes to the farmers market in Thousand Oaks every thursday buys plenty of eggs yes they are more costly(I think she pays 15 dollars for 36 eggs) but she can afford it so it is what it is. My nephew’s friend on the other hand they have laying hens and they make really good organic eggs every morning

You must live closer to egg producers than I do. My Trader eggs are$5.99, Natural Grocer’s were $7.35 , up 36 cents from a month ago, and Safeway charges $9.95.

NaturalGrocer had no eggs for awhile because they’d wreck their reputation for reasonable prices, they were so expensive.

Of course, I only buy pasture-raised eggs, which are more expensive anyway. The stores here in Spokane pay shipping charges too. My fave brand comes from North Carolina.

I get a dozen organic, cage free eggs at Sprouts for about $6.

I’m don’t care how thay are raised. They are really good. The yolks are deep orange.
