The experienced pilot flying a Beechcraft 350 C through controlled airspace on Sept. 17 reported a close encounter with the unidentified object on a clear afternoon above California, according to a recording of his call with air traffic control obtained NewsNation’s “Banfield”.
“This is going to sound weird,” the pilot identified as “Troy 21” tells a local air traffic controller in Los Angeles at 2:30 p.m. “But I just had something pass underneath my wing. Maybe a football-sized object right under my wing.”
The pilot was on an undisclosed military-related flight involving the Department of Homeland Security, the outlet reported.
“I’ve got my sensor operator looking for it on the camera right now, we’ll see if we can find it,” Troy 21 said.
“But it was like a dark gray, cylindrical object and it was probably the size of a football and it passed maybe 10 feet under our right wing,” the pilot said.
Roughly one minute later, the airman reported seeing an object on the jet’s air-to-air. About 40 seconds after that, he reported seeing an object on radar 60 miles away — but it’s unclear if it was the one that passed under the plane’s wing.
For the objects to be one and the same, the UFO would need to be traveling at over Mach 2 speed to cover the distance in that short amount of time.

Attack of the Lilliputians?
That would be an American football, not a Euro futboll...

I like how everybody breezes right by USAF/DHS spy flights over California as though that isn’t the -weird- part.

Did the cartels make a deal with the aliens to monitor US air operations, in exchange for some quality blow? ❄️👽❄️
maybe it was a football.
The mother of all missed fieldgoals.
The animation doesn't add veracity to the story. It cheapens it by creating a false visual narrative.
E.T just wants to phone home.
Yes, 100%.
Football sized? sounds like a drone.
Ufo ping
So, what are we going to do about it? What can we do about it?
Answer: Nothing.
That is the answer to both questions in the short term.
In a long-term, the knowledge that there are "others" out there could lead to some useful research by our people. Looking into possibilities that were previously unacceptable to consider will lead to unexpected discoveries. That is how the advancement of human knowledge and capabilities has always worked.
Tom Brady is at it.
There’s a patter emerging from many of these “Close Encounters” of football, basketball sized objects near the wingspan of experienced pilots while flying. The sighting was VERY brief! There’s no doubt that the pilot actually saw SOMETHING. I’m not convinced that what his mind perceived that it was, was actually what he saw.
Sounds like he saw, or thinks he saw a Foo Fighter.
Just an NFL QB practicing the Long Bomb...................
One theory could be that the Beechcraft was testing a new sensor with advanced technology of some kind. Someone wanted a close look at it and used a normal drone to get close to take some pictures.
The ‘passed below my wing’ could be the drone was just going a normal speed approaching the Beechcraft from the front.
This theory ignores the radar contact which could have been something else.
