Have to agree, this came out much better than I first feared they would.
We know there were “shy Trump voters” - maybe there are shy Senators too who may not make a lot of noise about it but do the right thing when the votes are cast.
The people of South Dakota deserve credit for pressuring Thune to do the right thing.

Except isn’t the senate pushing 2 bills forward instead of waiting for the house to send them ONE bill that includes all of Trump’s priorities, including extending the Trump tax cuts? I see the senate trying to find a way to not extend Trump’s tax cuts, which would mean conservatives lose lots of seats in the mid-term election. I am not sure Thune is a good guy.
