President Trump signed an executive order Wednesday night barring illegal immigrants from receiving federally funded benefits.
“My Administration will uphold the rule of law, defend against the waste of hard-earned taxpayer resources, and protect benefits for American citizens in need, including individuals with disabilities and veterans,” read the text of Trump’s order.
The president noted that the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA) ostensibly prohibits illegal immigrants from obtaining most taxpayer-funded benefits, but he argued that in the decades since its passage, “numerous administrations have acted to undermine the principles and limitations directed by the Congress.”

It’s still February in MI, so many of them will think they can let an SUV drive itself out of trouble, and then they end up getting stuck in a snow-filled ditch or median.
Getting the illegal population to coalesce into those likely blue states has several good things going for it. It makes ICE apprehensions easier. Also as the state's illegal population swells, the normals will start to resent the trend. Hopefully that will lead to changes at the state level government.

male illegals.....since ICE began catch and deport in earnest I see very few, and the ones I do see are females.
We should still provide medical care for life threatening emergencies, especially for children. Call ICE and patch them up, in that order.

If they are bank run debit cards, that may be the case. I was thinking they were “visa” cards—like gift cards. They are preloaded and can be used like cash anywhere on the network. If that is the case, once they are issued the money is “gone.” Reloading or reissuing them would be when the “flow stops.”
Either way…they are not going to be happy.

If the Feds pull out of Medicaid for illegals - the states will have to not provide the care or the state will have to pay the difference- could be a good time to
vamoose from migrant heavy states.

Hospitals won’t refuse care to anyone with say - life threatening injuries from an auto accident. What happens then ? That cost will get passed on to the rest of
the paying users.
I think that if a hospital provides emergency medical services to an illegal - the Feds should pay if the hospital turns the illegal in to ICE
If a hospital provides services to an illegal and doesn’t report - then the Feds should revoke that hospitals ability to participate in MediCARE as well.
That would stop it.
