Even the most die hard lib has to know that for every dollar sent to Africa for “the children”, 95 cents ends up in some war lord’s pocket. How much of that finds its way back to the US is up for discussion.
A billion here or there will start to show up in a short while.
It will be interesting to see who rises and falls as a result of the spigot being turned off.
Once the “natives” stop getting paid, they will start to get restless.
It is definitely causing a few disruptions in my part of fly over country. Some farm products are shipped via USAID grants. An AG department at the local university receives funding from USAID. They are going to have to shut it down if they cant get funding from elsewhere, etc...
