This is a stupid idea. If they had stayed in Africa, most of them would have been killed, and a fair number eaten. Most of these people would not be alive if their ancestors had ended up in Brazil or the Caribbean, where 95% of the slaves died without descendants.

It was more economic, in those places, to work the slaves to death than it was to allow them to breed more slaves.

The United States treated slaves better than the vast majority of countries in the world.
