NO ONE has really replaced him. He was truly one-of-a-kind.

I listened every day from 1989 through the late 90’s. Habits changed and I rarely had the opportunity in later years; however, I still miss him - it was always good knowing he was there even if I wasn’t listening.

It still upsets me the wife sold his home so quickly after he died to someone that has by now bulldozed it. Rush’s home would of made an amazing museum, even I would have wanted to visit.
To: Red Badger
Can’t believe it is 4 years. I remember hearing his wife’s voice on the show letting us all know that Rush is no longer with us. RIP Rush!
To: Red Badger
Only 4 years! Seems like a lot longer than that. i would love to hear his take on what’s happening today.
To: Red Badger
I was raised on Rush starting in the early 80s. Him on the radio and Reagan kicking ass showed us the strength of conservative ideology and the lameness of liberals. Also in Oklahoma we had a slew of conservative radio hosts at that time.
While of course no one could replace Rush he would be very pleased with Bongino’s work in his time slot. Dan is an unapologetic fighter for conservatism like Rush was.
To: Red Badger
Still miss him every day. I would have loved to hear him talking about the events of the past year with Trump’s campaign, the assassination attempts, the election, the inauguration, the bold DOGE efforts to root out the Swamp rats, etc. He would have had SO MUCH to talk about.
RIP, friend. Your are missed.

I was so happy to see Trump award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in his last days, and to hear Rush tell the story about how he got invited to Trump's state of the union address made me laugh.
When I retired, Rush was on my radio every day, noon to three, without fail.
