Federal crime syndicate crumbling for all to see
Leader-Call ^ | 2/14/25

What is unfolding in Washington, D.C., as President Donald Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency uncover vast, massive amounts of U.S. taxpayers’ money being wasted on nonsense across the globe. No federal agency should feel safe, as there is horrific abuse at all of them. The game politicians play to enrich themselves and their cronies is being exposed for all to see. It is mind-numbing to see what the voters have allowed to happen.

Whether it is $59 million being sent to luxury New York hotels to house illegal aliens or a report that the Biden Administration in its final days were robbing the treasury as fast as possible. “We were throwing gold bars off the Titanic,” wrote Trump EPA chief Lee Zeldin, adding that the previous administration was trying to funnel as much money as possible from the taxpayers to God knows who.

The federal government is a crime syndicate. Much like any Mafia family, when the syndicate begins, the money is flowing. The Mob robbed airlines, got its hands in cement contracts and waste management. Everything that was done was subject to kickbacks, enriching their own family and using the power of the gun to enforce those rules.

Sound familiar? If your family makes $90,000 per year, it is taxed exorbitantly. Don’t pay? Here come the thugs from the IRS to ruin your life through audits — or worse, at gunpoint. When an audit begins, the IRS will search every orifice, every piece of paper and every questionable deduction. It is a complete and thorough examination. Without the threat of an audit, would any taxpayer actually pay his or her taxes? Without consequences, what is the point? Civic duty? Ha!

If the IRS accuses a taxpayer of something bad, you are guilty unless you can prove your innocence (unless you are an important Democrat like Hunter Biden, of course).

It’s just a shame that Pedo Joe and Hunter van GoGo got away.

Good Analogy though. It operates like a Government Mafia, with positions of: Boss, Underboss, Consigliere, Capos, and Soldiers. That is why the Government Mafia has 2 million plus employees.

In the Old Western Days the villian gets hung for less crime than the average DC insider of today.

to see what the voters have allowed to happen.

The voter could not see what was happening. It was very deliberately hidden.

If some truth managed to get out, the old dominant media was only too happy aid their compatriots in the deep state kill the stories.

“Federal crime syndicate crumbling for all to see”

Yes, but let’s not declare victory just yet. The black robed swamp is just getting started. We need to stomp it out before declaring victory.

It's not waste. It's fraud and theft. Waste is when I buy three slice of pizza and throw one away.

It is mind-numbing to see what the voters have allowed to happen.

The voters were powerless to stop it. We had a few lone and occasional voices in Congress such as Proxmire and the two Pauls railing against "fraud, waste, and abuse" but they never got any traction. The people were afflicted with "I hate Congress, but I love MY Congressman" disease. People elected to Congress came in with some fire in the belly, but were soon taught by the old-timers how to play the game and not rock the boat. If they played along, they got filthy rich off the taxpayers.

We have three guys who are one in 100 million who are determined to fix the problem.

From 1900 until today, 420 million people were born in the USA and another 70 million migrated here. Almost a HALF BILLION people have lived in the USA the past 125 years since the problem of big government got going. Now three saviors have arrived who might save the union.

The problems really started in 1913 with the ratification of the 16th Amendment which gave Congress the authority to impose an income tax and the 17th Amendment which provided for direct election of Senators. But it was easier to do the numbers from 1900.

The last paragraph is overdone unless things have changed. There are two kinds of audits in my experience. One is specific and deals with a single question, the other is general where they look at everything you report plus what you didn’t. The IRS doesn’t have time to audit everyone, they pick their battles to get the best return on their time.
