I never saw any confirmation of the “five commercials” rumor.

As far as I know it was just internet disinformation; quite a bit of it on this site and elsewhere.

No worries. He can air it when he's had plenty of time to amass all the gory details, agency by agency. And he's got the media platform wherein he can announce it ahead of time point by point, grift by grift.

I never heard or heard of any confirmation from Musk. I think it may have been a rumor started by Fox or the NFL to draw more eyeballs. Pretty clever actually, but underhanded.

Even if FOX was willing to air Elon’s commercials, FOX had likely sold out all their ad slots.

Must be so because there were very few ads pushing their own programming.
