I love how California is all about "states rights" now that the Democrats aren't in control of the federal government anymore.

California's schools are committed more to the push for boys in girls' locker rooms than they are to anything resembling decency, propriety, or common sense.

There are multiple laws on the books and executive orders from the governor's desk protecting the "rights" of boys to compete with girls in California schools. Some going back more than a decade.

It appears as if the state is going to ignore the federal mandate in favor of their states radical laws.

Yep, “states rights” used to be what the democrats claimed was a dog whistle for racism. My, how things change.

“The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) said it will continue to follow the state’s law that allows athletes to participate as whichever gender they identify as,”

Strange they don’t realize how utterly stupid and ridiculous that sounds. Absolutely pitiful.

If an out-of-State competitor is injured as a result, I wonder if this becomes a matter of civil liability in Federal Court. As a Californian, I hope it costs the State a bundle.

It’s not “just” an executive order. It is returning the government to operating under the original interpretation of Title IX with the usual interpretation of female as a biological determinant resulting from the conjunction of XX and excluding the conjunction of XY chromosomes. Iitle IX is law.

It’s an EO, so California doesn’t have to follow it. However, they would quite wise to do so as I doubt that much of their (legal) immigrant culture wants to see their daughters getting smacked around and having to shower with guys.

Trump, If California has an extra $50 million to fight me, they don’t need federal disaster money.

The feds ought to pull every single dime of the redistribution of our tax dollars to CA. After that it’s a state issue for now, and if Newsom runs for POTUS it will quickly knock him out of the race.

Doubtful that the GOPe congress and the wishy-washy senate will do anything either putting a bill together.

Woke policies implemented in schools are what turned Virginia’s governorship red. Parents don’t like their kids being used as social guinea pigs.

As the grandfather of a very accomplished 15 year old girl who is a student athlete I feel very sorry for the girls who will suffer through this while their idiot parents keep voting rodent.
I realize it will be of little consolation but their suffering will eventually help finish off the rodent party for good.

California still cling to the idea long term use of marijuana has no effect of the brain.

They have reached the point of no return.

If states can ignore executive orders, then The Executive can ignore some judge from the District of Lower Slobovia popping up and issuing a nation-wide edict.

Politically, California insisting on maintaining its insanity is not a bad thing for Trump.

While the rest of America begins to heal and reform, having the screaming mental patients in California continue to push their absurd marxist theories will provide an excellent contrast of what the Democrats are all about, and remind the rest of America not to change course.
