Putin disaster as 'entire Russian command obliterated' in devastating Ukraine strike
Express UK ^ | 2/8/2025 | John Varga

Ukraine is reported to have wiped out the entire command of Russia's 35th Brigade in a deadly missile strike.

The attack was carried out using HIMARS missiles on the brigade's headquarters in the eastern town of Selydove.

The town was captured by the Russians in October last year and lies just 11 miles northwest of the strategically important city of Pokrovsk.

The attack was filmed by Ukrainian drones hovering close to the building, housing the headquarters.

In a video posted to social media, a huge ball of flames rises from a building after the impact of the missiles.

Thick black smoke then billows skywards from the stricken building, where the brigade's command was reportedly billeted.

Later Russian military bloggers claimed that brigade's command had been killed in the attack.

One wrote: "Our brigade is in mourning. Our commanders have passed away. The commanders of our 35th brigade. All at once. The entire headquarters."

” If America had good leadership, we could have brought the two sides to the negotiating table. “

I’ve thought that at times. I don’t think it’s true. We might have done much, much more than what was done, eg; “letting it happen”. We may have induced negotiations, but I don’t think Russia’s intent would have been extinguished. My .02.

Russian generals are still on my list. Unless they are in Russia.

War sucks. But the Russians are not on their own soil. In peacetime, I love everyone.

Yeah, I read that the first ten times you posted it.

I don’t care. Killing Russians when they are not on their soil seems to be the only way to get them to go home.

And yes, I feel strongly about the US being in places where they shouldn’t be as well. We end up with a lot of bodies coming home for no good reason.

Using force should be done sparingly. The large countries needs to keep that in mind.

That sounds like Ukrainian disinformation. A Russian would have written “The building was destroyed and several women staff were killed. The commanders were on the battlefield leading their brave men.”

Russia thought the war would be over in a week.

No, it was your General Milley who said Ukraine would lose quickly.

Your right up there with him on the dummy list. 😂

Good point. The Ukrainians are on record as having a poor capacity to gauge their propaganda for other populations. For example, when they had their (former American military) transgender spokesperson threaten the international community for supposedly spreading 'misinformation' (free speech), his odd, B-movie theatrics simply hardened the public against giving the Ukraine more aid. They don't understand how to propagandize in a believable manner.

I had a very good friend, very conservative, who believed wholly in that propagandistic creation of “The Ghost of Kiev”.

Propaganda works, and all sides, but predominately with respect to Ukraine, it comes from the American Left, the Ukrainians, and the Russians.

I give no credence to any reports from that region. None.

"What a stupid senseless debacle this war is."

All proxy wars are senseless, except to the people who get rich off of them.

"John Varga"

"marcusclimaximus Humiliated As Attempt To Stiffen Flaccid Ukrainian Front Line In Kursk Takes 3 Days, Ends In Failure!"

Even a helping hand from Express UK fiction writer John Varga failed, and rubbed marcus the wrong way, in the end.
