Nope, no mole was needed. 60 Minutes made the mistake of showing the real Harris in an ad, and then used the edited Harris in their broadcast. That was all that Trump needed to get his foot in the door.
Now it is possible that a mole was involved in the ad, but I suspect it was more having to provide content to meet a deadline and the clean-up of the interview was still being worked.
(of course I could be wrong, but still, no mole was needed, for once)
Love this!!
This isn’t exactly a new trick from 60 minutes. They’ve been doing it for more than half a century. In 1969, while I was working for GM, the show did a hit piece on the GM Corvair. They interviewed a GM executive named Frank Winchell (who went on to become a GN Vice President). When they aired the interview, they used different questions than were actually used in the interview. The new questions made the answers appear to give the opposite point of view from what was intended.
After that, GM vowed to never again appear on the show unless they actually made their own recording of it. There’s never been a GM spokesman on 60 Minutes ever since.
Wouldn't that make all of us plaintiffs then?
Why is Rep. Jackson specifically added ?
Once you get the bad guys on the ground.
Then knee to throat.
It’s effective.
He should get two libraries since he is President twice (45 and 47).
I read a story a couple of months ago that Trump would settle this because he had previous business ties with Shari Redstone who is tied to Paramount.
It may have been in a Hollywood trade publication.
Looks like it’s the opposite.
Trump wants justice not a settlement.
A MAGABC would be a nice trincket for Don Jr.
