I’ve seen a few episodes of Heavy Rescue 401 where a number of them either fall off a flat bed or go through the side of semi trailers.

Put an auxilliary steering station in the bed.

That would make a good ad for the Ford Explorer. The only vehicle in which the driver would have survived.

Wish they had included an actual Ford F-150 though. Just because the Miata identifies as an F-150 doesn't make it one. :-)

The video would be more interesting if it wasn’t CGI.

Whoops, you are right. I noticed that watching the debris on my second viewing. Definitely fake.

They labeled the Miata an F-150!

The Explorer did well. Backseat passengers would have survived.

Tesla flattened, then flipped like a pancake.

Isn’t it amazing how the impacts crushed the cars, but didn’t cause any damage to the concrete wall (in the middle of a street, next to a gas station) or the mixer truck (no dents or buckling of fenders, bumper, etc).

20 tons? Meh. When I worked at a big open pit copper mine, one of the training videos showed a haul truck backing over a pickup truck. The pickup was completely flattened.

The tesla was picked up and carried away.

The roll crushed the cockpit of the Miata and stayed on top to make sure the people were killed.

—”AI generated crap.”

Sadly most of the fun stuff on the internet is FAKE.

Someone mentioned the plastic shards, clearly fake!

Would you believe fake but accurate?

How about fun to watch?

Sorry about that Chief!

—”The pickup was completely flattened.”

A friend that did not exactly give a crap was driving an M88 in a major shindig at Ft Hood TX.

Because of heavy rain, the route was changed and an MP Jeep with a small blinking light was blocking the way, forcing a sudden turn at the bottom of a hill.

Very difficult for an 88 in good condition, impossible for stateside iron at that time.

No one was injured and the inquest found a long list of reported deficiencies on the vehicle, He walked.

Specifications
Mass M88/M88A1: 50.8 t (112,000 lb)
M88A2: 63.5 t (140,000 lb)
Length 27.13 ft (8.27 m)
Width 11.25 ft (3.43 m)
Height 10.25 ft (3.12 m)

When your tank is stuck in a mudhole this is what you call for.

Well, the Tesla holds more passengers so 5 would be killed. The Mazda would max out at 2 dead.

Now if you had a dog in either car it would be sad.

I was one of 6 (not the driver) in a Corvette that went over a curb stop. Back in high school.

No one was hurt. Except the Vette of course.

Six in a vette never heard of that.

I did hear you could get 8 in the front seat.

I worked at the New Britain Ct. Stanley Works in their steel mill back in the 70’s and one of rolls got away from the crane operator as he was loading it in tempering furnace. Unfortunately it rolled and pinned a furnace operator against the wall, it was not a pretty sight.
