Pop legend Alicia Keys claimed that DEI policies are a “gift” to America as she received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at Sunday’s Grammy Awards.
After winning the award recognizing her decades in the music industry, Keys called for more “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) in America, not less.
“This is not the time to shut down the diversity of voices,” said Keys on sage. “We’ve seen on this stage talented, hardworking people from different backgrounds with different points of view, and it changes the game. DEI is not a threat, it’s a gift.

Well of course she would call DEI a gift, when she is likely to benefit by it.
Alicia is an impressive musician, but not the most logical thinker.
*Funny thing about Alicia Keys, is she is capable of some fine performance singing, but every so often, it seems she may get a short episode of stage fright.
On those occasions, Alicia will stand on the stage in front of her audience, and really struggle to sing in the right key. I used to think she did it in play, to amuse her audience, but I don’t think it’s a self parody.
There are times when her singing is absolutely dreadful for a verse or two. Then she recovers and keeps the show going.
Right. Then they freak if their precious life is threatened. They freak!
If it’s such a gift she should give up her award to someone of color or sexual WTF who is totally unqualified or deserving because….DEI.
Erp,barf, ack.
Really stupid. She really did have talent and released a best selling album at age 17.
Another “Legend” I have no clue who she is besides plays piano.
Every facet of modern mass entertainment is dominated by perverts.
She nailed it! “DEI is a gift”
++++++++++
Gift in German is “POISON”
