Notably, magnesium is also critical to wound healing and the use of magnesium in the electrode may contribute to the healing effect. Even without electrical stimulation, topical ointments containing a magnesium salt have been shown to be helpful in healing burns.

How large are the mouse subjects to be able to test these bandages on, which themselves are apparently large enough to use on humans? Did the research team design smaller bandages to fit the mouse bodies?

Of course, when Pharma companies are selling ineffective treatments for 20k this bandage will never see the light of day (in the USA) short of the bandage being marked up 500%
