Tech billionaire Elon Musk called GOP Sen. Todd Young (Ind.) a “great ally” after he previously criticized the lawmaker over Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination to become director of national intelligence.
“Just had an excellent conversation with @SenToddYoung. I stand corrected,” Musk posted to his social media platform X. “Senator Young will be a great ally in restoring power to the people from the vast, unelected bureaucracy.”
Musk, who has been tapped to lead President Trump’s “Department of Government Efficiency,” previously slammed Young over his indecision in confirming Gabbard. In a separate post, Musk called Young a “deep state puppet.”
Young, who sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee, is a key vote in confirming Gabbard to the position. The senator grilled Gabbard during her hearing last week, expressing concern that she refused to label Edward Snowden as a traitor.
He’s one of a few lawmakers who could help push her toward securing the position.

I hope so. I just don’t trust Young, he has shown his RINO credentials too often during the Biden years, and his refusal to endorse Trump was just plain disgusting!

Are you, Senator Young ,prepared to make the right decision and say that we had traitors in the Bush, Obama, Biden Administrations, and that it is necessary that we investigate & uncover these traitors and try then for what they are?
If not, then you have no business being a leader of this nation. You are unqualified in my opinion for not making the right choice to find & try the traitors of this nation. You know darn well, that she is noy unfit for the job.
From what I’ve been reading, Elon found out that Young was on a USAID board that looks pretty fishy for him. Maybe Elon called him to tell Young he knows about it and sure would appreciate his vote for Tulsi…
Ya know there’s an old saying. I can’t remember it exactly but it something like. “you lay around in the mud with the hogs long enough, you might as well admit it, you are one”. That ain’t the way it goes exactly but you get the drift. Maybe Elon mentioned where he’s been laying. Hope so.
Trump-uncooperative pubbie senators deserve unapologetic full-court pressure, from every well-placed righteous source, short of actionable blackmail, to bring about the delivery of Kennedy, Gabbard and Patel to Trump’s cabinet.
