One of the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted — accused of killing his wife just hours after their wedding in 2012 — was arrested in Mexico Thursday.
Arnoldo Jimenez, of Illinois, was captured in Monterrey and extradition proceedings to bring him back to the US have already commenced, according to authorities.
“The FBI is extremely appreciative of the Burbank Police Department, our law enforcement partners in Mexico, and the public for their tremendous investigative efforts and collaboration in the capture of Ten Fugitive Arnoldo Jimenez,” said Douglas DePodesta, special agent-in-charge of the FBI’s Chicago Field Office, in a press release.
“The FBI will use all of its available resources to bring criminals to justice, no matter how much time has passed, or where they may be in the world.”
Jimenez, 42, allegedly fatally stabbed Estrella Carrera, 26, on May 12, 2012 — the day after their wedding, according to the FBI.
The murder is believed to have unfolded inside his black 2006 Maserati.
Authorities said Jimenez then lugged Carrera’s body into her apartment in Burbank, Ill., where he left it in a bathtub.
She was later found with her wedding dress still on.

Brandon. Delaware. Chicom bribes. And Hussein knew all about it.
Amazing what can be done when you aren’t busy chasing political enemies and grannies praying in front of abortion clinics.

Yeah right, by that logic Biden would be in a prison cell until death do us part.
I read that they don’t post pictures of the Most Wanted on Post Office walls any more, but have binders with them available.
Who has ever asked to leaf through such a binder?
And do people use their phones to look these up?
It really means no one on the list has to worry. No one is looking at them funny in a crowd now.
Old fast food joke.
You may have chosen the wrong McDonald’s if you notice the Employee of the Month picture has a row of numbers across the middle.
“Arnoldo Jimenez, of Illinois”
Yeah.
