Diana here: I will add Yogurt and Cottage cheese containers - the big ones are perfect for tomato, pepper and eggplant transplants, and Toilet Paper and Paper Towel rolls. When cut down, 72 will fit in a standard sized flat. Perfect for starting Snap Peas and Sweet Pea flowers that don’t like their roots disturbed for transplanting.

Lastly, eggshells. Dried out and crushed fine, they are a great source of calcium for tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, zukes and cukes; prevents Blossom End Rot. I toss a generous 1/2 cup into each planting hole, then do a top dressing later as the plant grows. Works like magic! :)

great additions. I use a lot of the cottage cheese containers for veggie plants before putting in the garden. Also use them for rationing bird seed. Yes we have been rationing for the last 2 winters. If we fill the feeder they just make a mess and then the raccoons and vermin come around for whats on the ground. This has worked great for us. We will be so glad for spring. Two young does nosing around in our front yard about 2 hours ago. 9:30am EST. This will not be much of a thread this month unless some of our southern friends have pictures. Hope there are some. They keep us frozen tundra folks hopeful.
