The only thing I’ve ever ‘quilted’ was a table runner. I found some fabric that I fell in love with, and used an old bath towel as the batting and the same fabric front and back.
After I, ‘fell out of love with it,’ it ended up in a dog bed.
I’ll stick to Blue Ribbons for crochet - but I sure do admire those that CAN and do quilt! :)
Hey! You should enter the Yo-Yo quilt in your County Fair! I’ll bet the Judges will love it and know all of the hard work that went into making it. :)

Our country fair is for youth only, fine with me. FamiliarFace I quit looking after one tub for the doll and book. It could be in 4 other tubs. Quicker to post this picture from 2023 when I did a quilt and needlework display at the historical village one day event. I hung the top of the yoyo quilt, had 3 other quilts there and made this display board. The doll I made a few years ago and the book are on the right. Purse made from yoyos to the left. Green doily I made in my late 20's and the pillowcases my mom made. She gave me several sets but these were the nicest. I also made up gifts in a tray of 5 or so circles of fabric to make yoyos and instructions. I packed them in snack ziplocs. I think I mist have made 50 or so and only a few were left. I was one of the docents in the house for the day and had so many great conversations with people about quilting and yoyos. To the left of the purse are some Christmas ornaments made into tiny yoyos, fabric scraps I had.
