@amuse

GERMANY: AfD leader Alice Weidel has taken a bold, Trumpian stance, vowing that within 100 days of taking office, she will seal Germany’s borders, slash asylum seeker subsidies, and initiate an unprecedented mass remigration effort.

Do the Germans have what it takes to protect their country and culture from Islam? Do we?

It all depends on which Germans show up to the party. Those mean, tough old Germans who conquered or menaced much of Europe for decades, or the new Germans, determined to be peaceful and accommodating so that everyone forgets the old Germans.

It appears that Alice Weidel has regain her mojo overnight and is now back on the attack.

In the wake of yesterday's tumultuous Parliament session in which her AFD plan to restrict illegal immigration, originally agreed to by the leader of the conservative CDU, was torpedoed by the resurrected figure of Angela Merkel.

After the debacle, perhaps of the betrayal, Alice Weidel appeared briefly in a palpably demoralized state. But it did not take her long to see that the debacle actually presented an opportunity for her to increase her party's position in the upcoming federal election in February.

The ruling coalition is finished and at each other's throats. The plurality party by the polls, the CDU, has just shot itself in the foot. The path is broader now than before for AFD and she is pushing the one issue that is irresistible, immigration control. The opposition, has maneuvered itself into opposing immigration control simply so they can oppose the AFD. They have made themselves into losers.

This is a game the AFD can and should win.

The question is how far away from alliance with America, the European Union, and NATO will Alice Weidel drive her party?

Don't disagree with anything you've written, but still feel nevertheless compelled to add a few observation:

The office of Prime Minister - while heading the Executive Branch - is only superficially comparable to that of "President of the United States." The PM has fewer powers.

2. Weidel will never become PM. The "firewall" is still in place, and besides: The prospect of the AfD becoming the strongest party (giving it a plurality), nation-wide, still remains in the realm of the fantastic.

3. Even if the AfD was able to build a coalition and name the PM, the resultant coalition govt. would not be able to push through the sweeping reforms which the Trump Administration is currently effecting.

My own "take" is that the centrist-right CDU/CSU will plagiarize the AfD on important points.

Regards,

I don't disagree with anything you've written, in fact I endorse every one of your points.

Now that our mutual admiration society is complete, let me too add a few observations:

2. Alice Weidel herself will probably not become the prime minister because the party itself is still a few cycles away from taking over the parliament. But I think the takeover is inevitable not just because of the issue of immigration but for all of the other issues that the AFD advances - all of them duplicates of Trump's policies, including policies on energy, industrial policy as well as immigration.

Your observation that, "centrist-right CDU/CSU will plagiarize the AfD on important points", is very much on point and is perfectly in keeping with our American two-party system which, amoeba like, seeks to absorb popular upstarts. This is essentially what nearly happened yesterday when the CDU made common cause with the AFD and then broke the deal.

So, either way under either a label, I think we'll see Germany moving toward a populist right governance which is to be monitored closely, not because it is dangerously right wing, but because from an American point of view it is dangerously liable to associate with Russia and China.

More importantly to the US, such a Germany would be less likely to do our bidding.

Yes, the US will increasingly find Germany less likely to do our bidding. Recent polls have found that of all the nations of Europe the Germans dislike America the most.

I think the real danger is the 19th century nightmare, an Asian landmass extending from the western border of Germany to the Pacific that is possessed of a nearly unending inventory of minerals, petroleum, people, scientific knowledge and riches. Germany and Russia are currently on the ropes with China not far behind but one can see within a generation a world power of the first rank with aggressive appetites.

The history of Europe post Napoleon is really the history of Germany. It has been the preoccupation of the British to prevent the amalgamation of Germany with Russia. If one adds modern, powerful China to that combination, the threat could be very daunting indeed.

They won’t let her win. In the ‘democracies’ of Europe, there are very tight rules regarding the behavior of office holders, which can be summarized as follows:
1. Immigrants must stay (all of them) and the flow must continue until the repopulation program is completed.
2. Kids must be groomed and Globo-homogenized
3. All reliable means of electricity production must be destroyed.
4. The Neocon War against Russia must continue by all means (economic and military).

Unfortunately the AfD doesn’t comply with ANY of these rules, so they are ‘a threat to democracy’ and thus will not be permitted to hold power.

This is very well-written.

I can't help but think that the American Empire has pi$$ed away an awful lot of opportunity and goodwill; why we needed rainbow flags at our embassies will be one for the historians to scratch their heads over.

It’s nuts. I remember when the French were driven out of Niger a couple of years ago in a military coup. We sent Victoria over there to make it clear to the military that Niger had to go back to European rule (meaning become a ‘good colony again’), and she got nowhere as the military was strongly supported by the masses, and a big part of that was the Western Globo-Homo push. I remember one guy being interviewed: “Why you do that?”.

I guess the Globalists feel Globo-Homo is their ‘Manifest Destiny’ or something. But it’s about the DUMBEST thing we could do, as it opened the door very wide for Russia and China, two countries that simply don’t care about ‘changing the culture of hate’, they simply want good relationships with the governments there.

Can we protect ourselves from third world hellhole cultures? That’s the real question. It’s NOT just Islam. If a country’s a hellhole - it’s because the people made it a hellhole. When they move en mass here or Germany - they bring the hellhole with them.

Germany and the rest of the world would be a much better and safer place if that Stasi whore Merkel and the rest of the Stasi would have been frog marched into a forest and executed in 1990.

The problem for Weidel is that even if AfD does well in the elections, the odds of any other major party forming a coalition with them to govern look like about zero.

No wonder the NWO and globalists so feared a Trump re-election.

Asylum is a scam. No where is it written that people from all over the world should IMMEDIATELY report to the United States for “asylum.” FIGHT FOR YOUR OWN COUNTRY!
