After an internal Q&A with CEO Mark Zuckerberg made headlines over the tech tycoon’s pro-President Trump commentary, Meta threatened to fire staffers for leaking information to the media — in a memo that then also got leaked.
Meta “will take appropriate action, including termination,” for any leakers, Meta’s chief information security officer, Guy Rosen, said in a memo obtained by the Verge.
“When information is stolen or leaked, there are repercussions beyond the immediate security impact,” Rosen said. “Our teams become demoralized and we all waste time that is better spent working on our products and toward our goals and mission.”
“We recently terminated relationships with employees who leaked confidential company information inappropriately and exfiltrated sensitive documents,” the memo continued.
The warning came after recordings were shared with media sources of an internal, hourlong meeting on Thursday with more than 70,000 staffers, during which Zuckerberg praised Trump, defended Meta’s DEI reversal — and complained about leaks.
“We try to be really open and then everything I say leaks,” Zuckerberg said, according to leaked recordings. “It sucks.”

H’mm.
Sounds like two “mutually exclusive” goals. Zuck seems a bit confused.
That whole company needs to be cleaned out.
As most know, Zuck was a key player in the 2020 steal. He had “pro Trump” comments leaked. He is trying too hard to suck up. Hopefully, it won’t work.
Hilarious.
But some Meta workers have protested the changes — like the removal of tampons from the men’s bathrooms.
Staffers have been bringing in their own tampons, pads and liners to stock the men’s restroom as a silent protest, according to the Times.]

Trump’s ineffectual attempts at defending himself from Obama-era commissars (now being fired en masse by Trump) while president gave them little confidence. If he can’t even protect himself, how’s he gonna protect them? Obama’s people were colluding with China and Europe to persecute Big Tech all through Trump’s first term. They were forced to divest operations and had to pay tens of billions in fines. For Big Tech, Trump’s first term was like Obama’s third term. Foreign persecution of US tech companies never ended.
Much of tech’s contribution to the Democrats was straightforward shakedown cash. Pubbies wouldn’t protect them against foreign attack, Democrats would grind them to dust. Trump’s commitment to take their side in international disputes, fire Obama’s commissars, probably got them to finally edge away from the Dems. Can’t stop paying the Gambinos without a commitment from another family.
Long interview about how tech spent so much time cowering under endless attacks from Obama’s handpicked bureaucrats through the tenures of 3 different presidents, it developed Stockholm Syndrome:

It really came down to Obama. His radicalism was expressed not through soothing rhetoric, but his mass firings and restocking of the bureaucracy with like-minded zealots. Biden continued Obama’s purges, which is why Trump must not only end the one-way ratchet in hiring for ideological lunacy, but throw it in reverse.
Super-duper above tippy top secret Zucky utterances get leaked ....
Zucky sez — “Find me n fire them dirty rats!”
Trying to make it credible that Zuck is really—no, really, truly—MAGA with faked “leaks”.
Zuk— “It’s them damn Meta-AI coding geniuses, damn remote workers that taped me at home”
Zuk — “Off with their heads! But first make them report to work at the office 6 days a week, for the next 10 years!”
