A Learjet 55 crashed around 6:30 p.m. local time on Friday, Jan. 31, after departing from Northeast Philadelphia Airport. Six people were on board. The plane was en route to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri. The FAA and NTSB will investigate. The NTSB will lead the investigation and will provide all updates.

IMO John Robinson (exalted author of the wonderful software that runs FR) ought to consider rearranging the Search type selector list, so that "Title" is higher than "Keyword" -AND- "Title" is made the default (instead of "Keyword").

Reason being that keywords are arbitrary and often not even added on posts, whereas the words in the title are ALWAYS going to give good results.

Also it should be mentioned in the default simple search that search words have to be 4 characters or more in length (that is mentioned at the end of the detailed-search page.)

That poor child. Just got through whatever treatments she had to get, on the way home and this. Very, very sad. Sorry for all the lost souls and their families. Fox said that this carrier had another accident in 2023, pilot overshot the runway and killed a bunch of people. Sounds like a company that does not hire the best pilots (like Biden’s gov) and maybe shotty maintenance doings also.

Saw a pilot's analysis...he says it could have been that the center of gravity might have been improperly arranged so that too much weight caused the nose to tilt up too far.

So it would have been something like that 747 in Iraq a few years back.They say that tanks weren't properly tied down...slid to the rear of the aircraft...and made the plane unflyable.
