In response to President Donald Trump’s executive order banning diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, the Pentagon’s intelligence agency has paused special event programs and related events, including for Juneteenth, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Black History Month, Holocaust Days of Remembrance and Pride Month, according to a memo obtained by ABC News.
Despite being on the list of the Defense Intelligence Agency’s paused events and activities, the memo clarified that Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth will remain federal holidays.
“The Defense Intelligence Agency is working with the Department of Defense to fully implement all Executive Orders and Administration guidance in a timely manner,” Lt. Cmdr. Seth Clarke, DIA spokesman, told ABC News in a statement when asked about the memo. “As we receive additional guidance, we will continue to update our internal guidance.” …

And here all this time I thought ‘celebrating’ was something you did on your own time.

I like the term. I suspected “malicious compliance” in some recent events. Each case should be examined. For example, it seems the Tuskegee airmen were presented to sell DEI. Ditch the DEI and remember the Tuskegee airmen.
The military should support military victories, memorial day, veterans day and the 4th of July.
Nothing else.

These “events” are nothing but cover for political indoctrination of America’s youth. Brainwashing.
Totally contradictory to “All men are created equal” and “judge a man by the content of his character, not color of his skin”.
There should be zero tolerance for such exclusive trash observances in our government.
Good, do away with all the special events and everyone gets a ribbon BS.
I would begin by asking the Director of DIA if he was responsible for ordering this, and if not, start down his chain to find the one reponsible. I’d lop off the responsible one’s head and the person immediately superior in DIA. I can’t imagine that it was done by someone below the DIA’s chief of staff.
