Smith was denied parole in South Carolina in November after spending 30 years behind bars
South Carolina killer mom Susan Smith is reportedly acting like a "complete nightmare" behind bars, months after she was convicted of a disciplinary charge for speaking with a filmmaker and ultimately denied parole.
The 53-year-old, who is serving a life sentence for drowning her two young sons in a lake in 1994, was denied parole on Nov. 20 after spending 30 years incarcerated.
"Last year, when she had a chance of getting out, she was really cooperative, helpful, even pleasant," a Leath Correctional Institution employee told The New York Post. "But now she’s the complete opposite. Just rude and b----y all the time. Overnight, she went from being a model prisoner to a complete nightmare," the employee continued, believing that Smith's previously positive character was just an act to get out of prison.

For about a week, driving thru North South Carolina wasn't a picnic if you were a black man.
Frankly I’m surprised she hasn’t gotten the “shiv” yet.
remember the one that drowned the kids in the tub?
remember the one that looked up different poisons on the internet and got off?
It’s amazing how many people excuse women for crimes.
Murdered her own children and pissed off?
Only the Menendez deserve payroll?
“serving a life sentence for drowning her two young sons”.
Yah, LIFE, as in forever, until she dies.
Parole should not even be a topic of discussion.
In other words, now they’re getting to know the real Susan.
I was in my 20’s when that happened. I actually believed her story at first. My sister in law pointed out all the flaws in her story. It was still hard for me to believe she killed her kids until the top notch Sheriff announced her arrest. You have to be a monster to kill your two little kids by drowning them. :-(
A really repentant person wouldn’t seek parole for themselves, in terms of it being the only thing that mattered.
The Son of Sam, I judge to be repentant of his crimes, because he never requests his freedom for his crimes. His duly obligated to attend parole hearings but he always requests to finish his sentence.
Cue the meme of Karen Black crouching down with insane face, stabbing the floor with a butcher knife (Trilogy of Terror)
“What otherwise pardonable individual wouldn’t end up being p.o.’d.
Get you hopes up...then...Bam. Hopes dashed.”
apparently see was not a pardonable individual.
Yeah.
Imagine watching her switch from angelic to nasty and having to deal with her now.
She’s got to be one considered of the lowest forms of life by her fellow prisoners.
Yeah, you’re right.
You’re right.
She displayed what a selfish bitch she really is when she strapped her two sons in the car and pushed it into the lake. She hasn't become less selfish over the years, just learned how to play the parole game, thinking she could fool the Parole Board that she'd actually repented. When cons don't get what they want or think they deserve, they revert back to their real personality.
I've been retired from the prison system for 21 years. I've read that Berkowitz has said he doesn't deserve parole. At this point in his life, I think he's come to the conclusion that he's safer behind bars than on the streets. I don't even know if he has any family left. It would be interesting to see his visitor's record from all these years to see who has visited him other than his lawyer(s).
Yeah, you know who else it was a total nightmare for? Those kids, drowning in your car. May God have mercy on your soul because I sure don’t.
Send her to Gitmo
You have to be a monster to murder your little kids.
Just dump her in the Florida Straits for the sharks.
I hope she NEVER gets out. What a horrible woman she is. Let her rot in prison.
