Blame the excerpting process (i.e. me)

Article says: “Reports did not indicate what kind of fish was involved, however the freshwater aquarium holds native species from the Mekong and Yangtze Rivers, according to The Daily Mail”

I havnt read the article yet...but my intial guess is a grouper.

They have huge mouths, can easily fit a human head in there...and they are nasty.

It looks like a Piraiba, which is a species of giant catfish.

There’s other larger types too… like the Som, and the Wels.

Looks like a river Sturgen, I caught one in the Connecticut river once it was over 5 ft long.
