Sen. Paul subpoenas 14 agencies over Covid origin

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee subpoenaed 14 agencies in mid-January about the origin of Covid-19 and risky research conducted at a lab in China with U.S. funding, its chair, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), announced Monday.

The list of agencies includes the National Institutes of Health, the State Department, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Department of Health and Human Services, the FBI and the CIA, among others.

The subpoenas were issued in the last days of the Biden administration and before the CIA announced it had decided that it was more likely a lab leak that caused the pandemic than an infected animal that spread the virus to people. Previously, the CIA had said it couldn’t conclude with certainty how the pandemic started.

Paul said he still needs answers about who at NIH allowed U.S. funds to be spent at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Chinese research facility in the city where Covid first emerged, in the wake of former President Joe Biden giving a preemptive pardon to Anthony Fauci

Paul has been sitting on oceans of data that, as a doctor, he is in a position to well understand.

He’s sat on all if it.

For years.

I have no faith in Rand Paul.

Human pardons only cover this life.

And the Court of Heaven needs no subpoeona or discovery.

These politicians on both sides of the Uniparty are desperate to come up with some narrative to go forward because people have lost trust in the Government-Medical Complex.

The mask hasn't just slipped - they took it off, threw it on the ground, and stomped on it. There's no unringing that bell.

The bottom line—a bunch of Mengele types in both the US and China worked to create this and other gain of function viruses to justify increased central government power over the populace—in both countries.

Once you understand that the Fauci pardon begins to make sense.

Just interrupt Fauci's life...day after day...week after week...just as he disrupted ours with shutting down businesses ans schools and demanding that we get the shots, wearing masks etc etc...and none of it did any good beating Covid. But it did put people out of business, denied children their friends and killed the economy.

Get him before Congress every day...for weeks at a time.

China’s justification for gain of function research was to defend against US biological warfare.

US .gov justification for gain of function research was to defend against Chinese biological warfare.

Meanwhile they worked together on the projects.

We were played.

The late Walter E. Williams would disagree.
Perhaps now his work will have more teeth now.

“But Fauci has a pardon.”

But Fauci is not the only one guilty. A successful criminal conspiracy takes a village...

And all conspirators need to be slapped for their active part in the conspiracy. You can bet they themselves will find a way to throw Fauci under the bus and take him down too.

Fauci and Daszak the two main culprits among others, all you need to know is Biden gave Fauci a Pardon.
Fauci was doing Gain Of Function research in the United Staes using Ferretts, they all died suddenly, panic ensued ,Obama stopped the Gain of Function research,Fauci then gave American funding to Peter Daszak of Ecco Health alliance to be done at the Wuhan lab where the Covid came from.
Fauci the Nazi should be in prison

I believe the Preemptive Pardon is about to be tested in one or more courts of law. It wasn't in the case of President Nixon and the pertinent question is "Pardoned for what?".

Can a president grant absolution from all legal consequences like a priest in a confessional supposedly does with all a person's sins?

Let's arrest and charge a few of the b@$tards and find out.

Yes it should be tested but I fear it’s too clear in the constitution

Lots of things that are even more "Clear in the Constitution" have been subject to test.

It's just me, but blanket absolution without reference to specific crimes, charged, indicted, or convicted, seems a huge stretch. No matter who grants it.

And a president pardoning his own family is something you'd only expect in kleptocratic s#/+holes. Like maybe Delaware.
