NOT ONE BIT SURPRISED——
JUST WHAT MANY OF US THOUGHT-—
SHE IS GETTING PAID & HAS SECOND “GIG” ON THE SIDE.
CHEATER-—ALL THE WAYS POSSIBLE.
SINCE SHE AS OPENLY ADMITTED TO HER CHEATING-—CAN SHE BE FIRED?????
I’m fortunate. I work from home and if they were to require that I come back in, I have the option of retiring but I think that’s a couple years away as our home office building is being vacated & they haven’t found a permanent site. They are leasing some floors from another company who has a WFH policy and that building is less then 10 years old.
MORE PRODUCTIVE===THEY HAVE ANOTHER SIDE GIG WHILE BEING PAID BY FEDS/TAXPAYERS
They've done pretty well at the USGS, parts of the NWS, and the FAA crash investigation unit. Those would make good models.
That’s no Federal court worker it’s a slacker.
Moans about having to return to the office five days a week.
Still a small part of government.
No doubt.
Why is it always the glasses?
<>They don’t live in DC, but they get paid at the rate equal to the cost of living differential. Which means, live in Podunk Hollow but get paid a high DC salary.<>
I didn’t realize that I didn’t despise our government enough.
My bad.
“It ain’t just Federal workers.”

That is a sticky wicket. Personally, I would enjoy working from home based on my temperment. I am extremely anal in my work habits and do not want any nonsense around me.
There are many instances if in a Union setting the hard workers are severely outnumbered by the slugs. Many Management (I worked with outstanding and dim-witted ones) don’t want to cause any union issues and will not enforce good work requirements.
It’s probably from that perspective some on FR are coming from when they say it’s more productive to work from home.
Unfortunately there are those who actually babysit their children the majority of the time and manage to simply skate by the minimum of work if even that much.
A person working from home should actually have a sitter for children during their work hours. It’s a deprivation of both honest work for the employer and attention to the children if done otherwise.
Those who are doing side jobs while on a job’s clock should be prosecuted under the law if possible and at the least fired from the job from which they are working remote.
((Off my soapbox for now.))
