I’m not really even seeing clever. Bump someone’s car from behind, and when they step out to exchange information, gun them down in front of the quiet neighborhood at night? Then call mommy and daddy to come help you get away?

Doesn’t scream Mensa.

Yep, he made multiple mistakes, starting qith the stolen SUV where the dealership knew his name.
