It’s not going to be fast or easy to eliminate a cancer that has not only been allowed, but encouraged, to spread in the federal government.
I’ll not take any credit for predicting federal agencies would do anything to retain their DEI bureaucracies. And why wouldn’t they? Even if their administrators weren’t DEI true believers, and most probably were, DEI gave them unprecedented and totalitarian control over the lives of their employees--more power than they imagined--and unrestrained virtue signaling opportunities. By claiming DEI was essential to their missions, they would be invited to DC cocktail parties and praised by equally dimwitted bureaucrats. The ego boosting was incalculable. Recently, in Bye, bye DEI, I wrote:
We’ve learned merely mandating the decommissioning of DEI bureaucracies isn’t enough. DEI bureaucrats, true believers all, usually with the help of dim-witted and even malicious administrators, have adopted the subterfuge of rebranding. Giving new titles to their DEI offices and functionaries, they’re trying to keep their racist, hate-filled policies and Marxist thugs in place while pretending to obey the law.

I agree. That move didn’t happen in a vacuum. Someone made it happen. That person has to be exposed and dealt with.

The most effective way to get rid of DEI in the ATF is to just get rid of the entire ATF.
That will never happened. What needs to happen is to repurpose the ATF to take guns away from criminals while at the same time leaving law abiding citizens alone. Leaving them alone means “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED”!

Thanks. One of the problems that our side CONSTANTLY has is underestimating the intelligence of Democrat leaders. For example, I keep hearing from our side “why can’t they understand that the sun doesn’t always shine or the wind doesn’t always blow. They’re so dumb.” I see comments like that daily here and trying to straighten out the people when I can. I concede the fact that many Democrat voters are clueless, but the ones that rise to the top know EXACTLY what they’re doing, and arguably are far smarter than our side.
That gives the Left a HUGE ADVANTAGE over us as we do the equivalent of trying to fight off a severe infection with aspirin, rather than going to the root of the problem. In other words, conservatives often say “but they’re not considering the energy storage problem with ‘clean energy’”. Oh, they are, and they are JUST FINE with that, because at a minimum, it greatly drives up the cost of power, and if blackouts still happen, what’s the big deal, the Deplorables deserve it.
As to how to deal with them - first, our side IMMEDIATELY needs to discount their words (”we just want a cleaner planet” or “we just want to end racism in the workplace”) and instead look at the EFFECTS of the polices, and then work backwards, which is what I did here - DEI demoralizes Whites, especially White men, so it will drive them out. As far as ending racism, DEI does nothing but INCREASE racism. I won’t go to black doctor at this point unless I get a damn good referral (I did in one case, but he’s an older man), and not because all black doctors are bad, but because there’s no way to know which ones are actually qualified. On the other hand, a White male doctor, or Indian/Asian doctor received no preferential treatment and thus, by default, is qualified. We can thank DEI for driving my decisions in EXACTLY the opposite direction of what the Democrats ‘claim’ they want to see.
As an aside, I suspect that’s a big reason why the government wants to get total control over health care, as they can force us to use their DEI doctors, and we have no say in it. I remember in one case my wife got a referral for a doctor with a colorful African name. I thought, definitely black, but if African, then maybe qualified - if American, no way. She was totally American, so I called to cancel and their office was literally angry at me - I guess I wasn’t the first to be on to their scam!
Fire her and now fire everyone involved. The “fire everyone involved” part will get people’s attention in other executive agencies and let’s say “encourage” them not to try crap like this.
But she has no problem taking advantage of what white man have done to make her life easier. Car. Telephone. Electricity. Cotton. TV.
