After only a little more clarity on this subject it is beginning to sound like another fabrication, of which I expect we will see many in the attacks on Trump and his team that will come in a flood from now on. Hutchinson has been pretty completely discredited in her testimony especially on the one about Trump somehow lunging through the screen to the steering wheel and trying to choke his driver.

From what I have seen at the state level reps and senators it would not surprise me one bit if this were true and that offers were coming from both sides of the aisle.
