Somewhere in Hollywood there's a pissed off actress who lost out but can't say anything because of the woke backlash.

Some actor I’ve never heard of is nominated for best actor playing Donald Trump in an unflattering light in a movie no one has seen “The Apprentice”.

It’s impossible to take the Oscars seriously. Even in a year where every movie stinks — there’s still a prize for Best Picture.

Yes but I would think that for every one of them there are two who think it’s wonderful and to be celebrated. That’s Hollywood.

Is it true some of the best movies do not qualify because they do not meet DEI requirements?

Required DEI means DEI infested bad flicks only .
Thus only fat ugly DEI talentless picks .
This crap died decades ago .

When Linda Hunt won for “The Year of Living Dangerously ‘ she was nominated as an actress even though she played a male character.

The virtue signaling in the speeches will be especially obnoxious this year.
No thanks.

The Oscars today show how far American entertainment has fallen.

I had never heard of Emilia Perez. I had to look it up -- Wikipedia tells me:
Emilia Pérez is a 2024 Spanish-language musical crime film
And the whole plot seems to be a celebration of transgender issues.
Obviously a shoe-in for eleventy-billion Oscars.

If this keeps up, some day they may actually run out of money and then they’ll be sorry.

The “Red Carpet” should be a real hoot. An endless parade of homeless people.

Honestly, other than ‘Wicked’, I am not aware of any of these films listed.

I wanted Pamela Anderson to be nominated for “The Last Showgirl.” She had plenty of buzz but didn’t make the final cut unfortunately.

Speeches that night might be entertaining.
