"Jim Acosta: "This is this is not Fox, congressman. You can't just spin a tale and pull the wool over people's eyes. This is CNN. This is the news. We are asking you to come on and tell the truth."
Tim Burchett: "And that's why more people are watching the Cartoon Network, SpongeBob reruns right now. Jim, look, I left the White House during a riot. My life was threatened. My life has been threatened within the last few weeks, yet there's no coverage of that. And you all continue this, this narrative of attacking Trump. You just can't stand the fact that he won and that America spoke and that your view is very diminished."
Acosta: "That's not the case at all!"
Burchett: "And your view is very diminished!

It's Bongino's third party theorem. You talk with leftist nutcases, not because you think you willl change them, but because other people are listening/reading, and they may never hear the truth unless a truth-teller is there.
đŻ.
Im am too.
I have no idea why GOP goes on that garbage netwrok.
My thought is they just need to pass on it and help suck the oxygen out of the network.
They are not reaching ANYONE that will be swayed by their debate...and best case they get out usncatherd.
Worst case...they embarrass themselves and give the left soundbites and talking points.
KO
Tim Burchett of Tennessee has long been one of my favorite members of Congress.
Woulda liked him to have said
“Jim, you are being sent to the Siberia of broadcasting because of your rediculous unhinged tds bias, don’t lecture me about fake news because you sir, are the queen of fake news!”
He needs to hold training courses on how Republicans should handle these media Aholes
Acosta is such and ass
Ah yes, CNN the same clown show that stood outside burning building in Minneapolis lying about “mostly peaceful protests”
It’s funny how the aw-shucks Southerners like Tim Burchett and John Kennedy disarm their opponents with country charm and then demolish them with brilliance.
Born and raised in the South it’s been my experience that people from other parts of the country equate the Southern accent with having a low IQ......Never understood it because some of the accents I hear coming out of northeastern states don’t exactly sound like they are the brightest bulbs in the shed.
During my time in the workforce occasionally I had people make that mistaken assumption......more times than not they ended up totally embarrassed and having learned a hard lesson about judging a book by its cover.....or in this case accent.
No idea what music your into but Tom Petty wrote a song called “Southern Accents” it describes perfectly how Southerners feel about being mocked for the way we talk.
CNN will soon be on the auction block. Iâm hoping Musk will buy it at a fire sale price.
Yep.
As a Southerner who spent most of his career in NYC, I think the “Southerners aren’t intelligent” stereotype stems from a rural vs. urban divide. Rural folks may seem naive about city life, but the reverse is equally trueâcity folks would be just as lost, if not more so, on a farm, ranch, or range.
Intelligence is contextual, and each environment demands its own expertise.
Generally speaking......24 hour news channels are probably one of the worst things to ever happen to the television viewing experience.....regardless of which one.
When I was a kid you got maybe 2 hours of news throughout the day and that was more than enough.
“Southerners arenât intelligentâ stereotype”
That and we’re all racist card carrying Klan members looking for the next opportunity burn a cross.
Back in the 80s I went to California with my then girlfriend to visit her parents....they had a get together one evening and had invited a black couple they knew. They had been told I was from the deep South and when I met them I could tell they were expecting me to excuse myself at any moment to go change into my sheet and hood because they were there.
It really is unbelievable that people still have that mindset about Southerners in this day and age. SMH
LOL. I’ve met people over the years that reacted to me in similar ways. I used to tell them just because I was raised on a plantation doesn’t mean that I am in the Klan. “I resigned from the Klan many, many years ago.”
âI resigned from the Klan many, many years ago.â
Lol! I’m stealing that! đ
Have fun with it. But be ready to run just in case they don’t have a sense of humor.;-)
No need to run when Mr Ruger is in your pocket.
