Beef liver is by far the healthiest meat. You feel better within 24 hours. Taste? if you need to you can get used to it, but to some it takes much like steak.

I always feel,a bit sick after eating it- I love the taste, but something about it just doesn’t sit right- maybe too much iron or something. My mother used to make a great liver and onion dish. Ate it a lot as kids.
We used to also buy tubs of chicken livers and hearts and gizzards. Can’t seem to fins them near us now though. Chicken liver is good, but strong. Love the hearts.
I don’t particularly care for liver, but my parents insisted on it every now and again. You’re right though. You feel better after eating it.
My mother cooked beef liver...so done that you had to chew it forever...yuk...I cooked some once for my hub because he liked it...found it wasn’t so bad uf you did not nearly burn it! I should try it again.
Can’t eat liver -— tastes like metal in my mouth. Sure smells good, though.
I love liver, but only freshly cooked. Once it is cooled off, we would eat sandwiches made of it, and they did not go down very easy. BITD when we wuz po fok’. We had 7 kids, my aunts kids on and off. Mom had 8 brothers and sisters, Dad had a Federal Job, he “sponsored” a lot of family to move near us, in with us, and to get jobs.
