It would seem prudent that a woman who has both a tear in the placenta and an infection be treated or at least closely monitored.
I would expect the hospital basically knew that it was just a matter of time before she gave birth.
I see now the article isn’t very clear. It reads that she was diagnosed and waited at the hospital for 8 hours the first day and 10 hours the next day. I took that to mean she was admitted to a room both times, waited in a bed, and then left. But, the article never says that, does it? Was she waiting in the waiting room both times? She was admitted the third day after she miscarried. Too late then.
