But now that President Donald Trump has been sworn into office, for sore loser Harris, it is now all about the blame game, and her target has flipped to her 'dead weight' husband.
And as she weighs her political future – maybe a 2026 run for Governor of California or another try for the nation's top job two years later – she has to consider whether Emhoff is an asset or a liability.

I know there’s a lot of people who felt she was telegraphing her choice for President - but sometimes I wonder.
She’s as far out in left field as they come and I know she hates the fact she was gonna have to leave the White House - but I just can’t picture her voting for Trump.

If Kamala had flipped 1% of the Trump voters in Wisconsin, 1.4% of the Trump voters in Michigan, and 1.7% of the Trump voters in Pennsylvania, Kamala would have moved into the White House on January 20th.
