Yes. Loved Mushrooms - but son hates hates hates them - along with black olives (we love black olives and mushrooms on pizza). I think it is the moldy smell husband objected to - and the idea of eating mold...
I finished my block of eight year aged cheddar last night.
Time to buy a new one!...................
Take heart amid the deepening gloom, that your dog is finally getting enough cheese.
Cheese will help to ease your pain of the Lions losing another chance at a Superbowl.................
Nothing can cure the pain.
For cheese fans, be sure to check out Mexican cheeses.

That looks like a great recipe - although I would leave out the strawberry preserves (although we love Monte Cristo sandwiches, especially the one served at the Blue Bayou in Disneyland).
Husband used to make a kick-a** grilled cheese - from whatever cheese I had in the cheese drawer of the fridge - with sourdough bread, of course, which I always have on hand.
That might be a good brunch for the Inaguration...
🤣🤣🤣

Sayyy... Ezekiel had a vision of 'barrel'-colored wheels. Yellow/gold.
Those cylinders are sure getting around today. First Cyrus', now this.
The same word as Tarshish --- which is a "distant port".
🍷
For anyone who's followed the prevailing theories, a major contender for the location of Tarshish is the port of Rota, Spain, aka the "Gateway to the Med":

I mention it because "Rota" means "wheel".
Who wants cheese with their port? פורט (יין)
I can’t see that one.
In Jonah’s time, Tarshish was in what is now southern Spain. It was a Phoenician colony. There were others, but the western end of the Mediterranean Sea was considered the farthest...................
Everything is... connected:
At its peak size in the early 1980s, NAVSTA Rota was home to 16,000 sailors and their families, to include two permanently forward deployed aviation squadrons, Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Two (VQ-2) and Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Twenty Two (VR-22). VQ-2 was based at Rota from 1959 until 2005, when it relocated to NAS Whidbey Island, Washington.[7] VR-22 flew the C-130F and was based at Rota from 1962 until its inactivation in 1993.
It's like the shout outs when President-elect Trump entered the room today:
USA! USA! USA!
You are Jonah. The real you, for “Jonah”—in Kabbalistic parlance—is another name for the soul. Hence, the story of Jonah is the story of a soul’s journey here on earth. Thus, on Yom Kippur, as we examine our lives and consider our purpose in this world, we remember the historical Jonah whose real-life narrative symbolizes our spiritual odyssey.Your story begins at birth. A soul from on high is plunged into an earthly body. Before its descent, the soul lived an angel-like existence, basking in a glow of spirituality, intimately bound to its Creator. But the soul must leave its home. It is confined to a material vessel, its senses overwhelmed by the brash stimuli of this world. “Jonah,” the soul, “boards the ship,” the body. And where does this ship take its passenger? “Away from the presence of G‑d.” Indeed, the very name of Jonah—closely related to a Hebrew word meaning “aggrieved”—alludes to the unique frustration of the soul confined to the body.

The little book of Jonah is the "You" essay.
You essay! You essay!
Donald Trump entered the packed Capitol Rotunda, ready to be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States amid loud applause and chants of “USA.” Joining him were his wife, the current president, vice president, and his soon-to-be vice president, marking a moment of intense national fervor and anticipation.

Jonah = "dove" = Columbia
Blue Bayou Monte Cristo dusted with conf, served with strawberry jam.
I remember as a kid (70s) we’d always stop at the Blue Bayou for lunch - walked right in.
Now you need reservations weeks in advance.
