Folks who favor immigration (of any type) fall into one of two categories.
1. Some have a childlike belief that no matter how full the boat is, there is always room for many more. That’s not logical on the face of it.
2. Some look at it from a jobs point of view. We need that labor! Well, no. It’s not 1920 anymore. There are no longer any factories and mills begging for help.
As for 1., the abundance of resources is bountiful enough. And 2. part of the Trump agenda is to bring manufacturing back to the USA. With immigration the most important factors are loyalty to our founding principles and a good work ethic. *Those* ought to be rigorously assessed and applied. We could also stand to deport the useful idiots who sow socio-economic discord, whose aim and outlook on life is solely through money gla$$es.
