Some of these mysterious ‘drones’ are indeed UFOs and should be taken seriously

For 17 nights in late 2023, for example, between one and two dozen brightly-lit objects flew at any one time over Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. Beyond forcing the cancellation of nighttime training missions and the transfer of highly advanced fighter jets to another base, the incidents left the military so perplexed that it tasked a special NASA aircraft equipped with sophisticated cameras to investigate the objects.

...

Somehow, despite nightly incursions stretching over weeks, no verified imagery of the “drones” has emerged beyond a video showing numerous blinking lights in the sky. According to Glen VanHerck, the recently retired commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command, “our most advanced” aircraft attempted to identify the objects with “extremely limited results.”

...

Gen. Mark Kelly, a decorated Air Force pilot and the commander of Air Combat Command, observed the incursions personally, likening the brightly illuminated objects moving across the night sky to a science fiction film: “Close Encounters at Langley.”

...

Would an adversary expose its ultra-stealthy technology so dramatically and consistently in full view of the U.S. military? If so, to what end?

What kind of craft, despite displaying bright flashing lights and flying in formation, can operate with complete impunity — avoiding radar and visual detection while resisting counter-drone technology — above a key military base?

Alarmingly, identical incursions occurred for several nights in November over sensitive American military bases in the U.K. According to witnesses, dozens of brightly-lit objects “hovered” and exhibited extreme performance characteristics while evading detection and multiple advanced counter-drone systems. Notably, the incidents began over RAF Lakenheath, which was the site of one of the most puzzling historical UFO incidents. The base is also slated to host U.S. nuclear weapons once again, raising an array of urgent national security concerns.

What, are you no saying you do not believe in space aliens now?

Well, good for you. Those who repeatedly post articles on proclaimed spaced based aliens, builds a reputation as a true believer. Because non-believers would not waste their time & energy to post them, especially on a continuous basis.

Except that none of those reasons explain why they would play hide and seek with us. Beings that advanced/superior would have no reason whatsoever to avoid contact or remain elusive.

We don’t hide from the lesser creatures on our planet.

It's called spam. And it's not remotely germane to the thread.

But spam away. Everyone but you seems to know that these aren't $99 drones. They might be $100,000 drones, they might be Chinese, or something else.

So what is your distraction?

×××××××××××××××

My wife when she starts shedding clothes.

OK seriously, it’s all distraction all the time. Crap is thrown all the time: if it sticks, it will be thrown continuously.

...they must be registered and transmitting their IDs...

Perhaps they learned of their origins through other channels.

I suspect that all of the regular news is the distraction from these UFO things.

We are not children. We have a right to know what these things are and where they are from. It infuriates me that we’re not allowed to know.

Military quality drones big enough to attract a lot of attention are mostly multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars on the low end.

I think these stories are interesting because they are mysterious and fun.

Most people who post and comment on articles about UFOs and unidentified drones seem to be quite open-minded about what they might be and are quick to admit that we simply don't have enough evidence one way or another.

The real true believers are those people who have made their minds up about what UFOs and drones are not—and those know-it-alls come on these threads to demonstrate how they've made their minds up with no evidence because they are know-it-alls.

Except for good old Quix, most people on these threads just speculate...and have fun.

We are not asking the right questions. What does the government know that is preventing them from shooting them down?

That is indeed one of the right questions. There is a screaming "the dog that didn't bark" aspect to all of this.

Nobody is posting articles on "aliens", and you're too ignorant to believe such.

Articles such as this are being posted for discussion since there is no information whatsoever as to where their origins are, either extra T or terrestrial.

Why are you so closed minded to not even enter conversation as to their origins, but rather insulting such conversationalists as "true believers"?

So what are you afraid of? Why are you so opposed to open discussions on these aerial anomalies that we are all questioning their origins?

Stop it with your nonsense

I have never drawn any conclusions about space aliens or otherwise. Never.

That said, when we speculate about aliens or demons or interdimensional beings, some people (trolls) jump on that and the next thing you know, we are accused of being true believers in something.

As I think you know, there just isn't any hard evidence for any conclusion at this point. So folks who accuse us (and me) of being "true believers" must have an agenda of some kind. Frankly, I'm not sure what that agenda is (except perhaps trying to be contentious and argumentative).

Because non-believers would not waste their time & energy to post them, especially on a continuous basis.

I have posted on this issue for a very long time. I am not a believer, so to speak.

The evidence shows that something is going on. I know because I have been following this mystery since childhood. It is one of my many hobbies.

But I still don't know what it is.

I think your conclusion that an open-minded person would not waste his time and energy on such a topic is myopic.

BTW, many scientists are involved with this topic. And they aren't true believers.

As you might know, the scientific method requires objectivity (i.e., an open mind).

There in lies many issues. Avoing radr under a couple hundred feet is easily done. You can’t avoid visual detection if you’re flashing lights let alone flying in formation flashing lights.

Those two arguments are irrelevant because visual detection is obvious in one and flying under radar happens all the time...simple tactics.

What doesn’t make sense “while resisting counter-drone technology”. That needs to be explained. Was electronic interference implied? what about actual genetic force employed? What was done and why did it fail? Maybe incompetence?

Without facts, everything else is supposition.

We are all alone. Deal with it.

What a stupid statement.

That may be your religion. But many of us (Christians and Jews and others) believe that there is a spirit world and a Creator.

I have profound personal anecdotal evidence that, in that regard, we are not alone.

If you are an atheist or agnostic, I would not expect you to have the slightest idea of what that might entail.
