Staggering images appears to show around 100 fire trucks sitting idly in a Los Angeles repair lot as fires ravage the city.
LA's fire chief Kristin Crowley told Jake Tapper on CNN: 'Over the last 3 years, we have been clear that the fire department needs help.'
She added that she has emphasized how 'understaffed, under-resourced, and underfunded the LAFD is', adding: 'I rang the bell that these additional cuts could be very very devastating for our ability to provide public safety.'

Actually , under Current California Laws they would have to decline because it would be displacing a Public Employee Union Member.
This is why you must PAY to do community Service, to offset the Union Members Job you are doing.
This typical of all government run facilities so nothing new. Throwing money at it solves nothing if nothing changes.
You need leadership not overweight government managerial woke DEI lesbians in this particular case... or any leftist which in reality is the same thing in one form or another.
Anyone in a successful business would use the government as a model of what not to do.
I’m not buying the underfunded argument. Even with the cuts she made, she still had 819 million dollars at her disposal. I’m thinking there are too many people who are overpaid. Starting with the Fire Chiefs.

They’re in for maintenance but they aren’t doing any maintenance on them......it’s just a place to park ‘em because the money for maintenance was redirected to the homeless.
