WASHINGTON, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Donald Trump will be sworn in as president of the United States on Monday, ushering in his second term in office and capping one of the most astounding political comebacks in American history.
Inauguration Day is, by tradition, largely dedicated to pomp and circumstance. One president leaves the White House, and another moves in. But Trump, a Republican, also has pledged to sign a flurry of executive orders on subjects ranging from border security to oil and gas production on his first day in office.

The pomp and ceremony of the American state on full display. The UK does it well but the US does it well too and it looks like Trump enjoys this kind of thing.
I don’t usually bother to watch, but I’ll watch this time. I really hope nothing bad happens.
Considering the ineptitude of the Secret Service, the hostility of the Deep State, and the exposure of the podium and seating, I’m nervous as a cat about this inauguration.
Maybe it’s just my paranoia showing again, but I kinda wish Vance would be sworn in at a different and distant location.
I know there’s a line of succession should the unthinkable happen. But I’d prefer that Vance be available, and at the top of that list.
Biden is excused from the presidency.
They left out the attempts on Trump’s life, which are all but certain. Let’s hope he has plenty of private security AND the SS is on it (as opposed to being in on it).
I see a few seem apprehensive. Yes, I hope everything goes smoothly.
It should do!
The guest list is interesting...
I’ll be in the islands. My favorite football weekend followed up by a 7am swearing in on Monday. Saturday football starts at 11:30am on Saturday and 10am on Sunday.
Still I’d rather enjoy it in the comfort of my humble home.
Will it be worth to keep the (now) $82 YouTubetv subscription? It’s gonna get exciting the first 100 days.
I watched with tears of joy in 2017. Ill watch again on Tuesday and pray for a trouble free inauguration. Newsmax said 8000 national guards will be on hand
So will Obama move out of DC on Jan 21st? His work there will be concluded! Will he buy a place in Delaware to stay close to his puppet?
I am in absolute fear for our incoming President’s life and safety and the lives of his family.

The dems are desperate and seeing the DOJ lift something that gives drones access is very troubling.
It sounds like you have a good weekend+ planned. Enjoy. YouTube TV, even with their price increases, still has the best deal going. A local sports radio guy was planning on getting through the first several months of the year on 30 day free trials for different platforms.
High temperature for Inauguration Day in DC is forecast to be only 26 degrees. Below freezing.
Looking forward to Hit the Gas Day. Soon to be followed, I hope, by Mine the Coal Day.
biden’s “presidency” should always be put in quotation marks because it is beyond questionable.
I’ll enjoy the hell out of this one primarily for being so schadenfreudetastic. Hearing the corporate media weep...seeing the sour faces of Democrats, hopefully more Lefty tears like the sky screamer from last time, etc.
100 executive orders on day one is a little light. I was hoping for about 500 and at least as many pardons. Hit the swamp right away with pile driver force. Don’t let them catch their breath. Follow that up with immediate mass firings of Bureaucrats starting with everybody Biden hired regardless of position.
we can all rest assured- it will be a hell of a day
I’m looking forward to the “open the prison cells and push them in” days.
Permission to steal that?

Per the above, the ChComs claim they are leaving it to the FAA to regulate.
