That still doesn’t address the fact that kids these days think they’re entitled to start where their parents are in their 50’s and unwilling to make sacrifices to do what they can.

Entitlement mentality has overtaken our culture.

...the accountability is with the adult in question.

Yes, and the adults in question, well aware of their limitations, are not having children. Saying they "refused to grow up" is accusatory, judgemental, and immature.

Walk a mile in their shoes.

Yeah, how dare they feel entitled to not carrying $36 trillion in debt to pay off what the previous generations took for themselves.

Your response is total BS sophistry. There is a responsibility to continue with the propagation of society and raise the next generation, otherwise everything collapses, your statement at best taking it in good faith is myopic and nihilist.

Getting married and having children is not some wildly unique not singularity unknown and un-judgable task for Gen Z and all the other generations experience somehow just so much easier. I like many have come for near nothing to have 3 children who are highly successful, so I have walked a mile and more. I am qualified to have an opinion on having and raising children. That you think they are un-judgable shows how little you understand or how small your thinking is, as if having children is somehow a new and unique experience only to Gen Z.

I however am not going to be charitable in your intent, you are just being argumentative.

It already collapsed. That's the point. Here's the chart from ProtectOurFreedom in Post 62:

The canary in the coal mine is a dog in a stroller. If it's just about propagation - let them propagate and send the bill to the previous generations that incurred the $36 trillion in debt.

I am qualified to have an opinion on having and raising children.

Do you have a qualified opinion on how to remove the $36 trillion in debt that they didn't incur? Pointing and spluttering about your anecdotal situation is a slap in the face to them.

...as if having children is somehow a new and unique experience only to Gen Z.

Forced into $36 trillion in debt they didn't incur, surrounded by foreign invaders that they didn't allow in, burdened with an unfathomable amount of decayed infrastructure, IS a unique experience to Gen Z.

As I said nihilist. Such defeatism always results in defeat and makes a poinless argument.

There is always a way, hard maybe but it has been hard before.

My wife and I started as rock bottom as most ever will from the Carter years, this is far from impossible.

Nothing is impossible to the person who doesn't have to do it. Feel free to pay off your portion of their debt.

As for starting at rock bottom during the Carter years; it was at zero, not $36 trillion in the hole, and those years went right into the Reagan years.

These younger folks are growing up and the scales never formed on their eyes. Call it nihilist but it's realist. They have to live it every day for the rest of their lives. What they've chosen to do is not force their children to live it every day for the rest of their lives.

Did not have top do it? You presume so much.

What exactly do they have to do? You know the Germans rebuilt after their currency was literally carried around in boxes. History is replete with hard times. Many way worse than now and yet people still had children and built a future. What a small view indeed you have of the world.

If it is so pointless why are you even posting? There is no hope in your world, you are wasting time, all you can do is tell everyone to give up and nothing can be done, no one needs that and it is entirely false. People like you posting such garbage are only propagating more despair and not worth the time to listen to.

Hard time requires hard people, no one chooses what they are born into. We can choose how we respond. I chose to work against the odds, there is no value listening in those like you who chose to reap despair and nihilism

You know that the United States rebuilt their country in 1945. So much for them "growing up".

...no one chooses what they are born into. We can choose how we respond.

and they choose not to subject their children to what they were subjected to. You choose to accuse them of not growing up.

"People like me" posting "such garbage" yet accusing "people like them" of "not growing up"? They don't need your lack of answers.

Explain what they need to do to grow up, pay off $36 trillion in debt they didn't occur, deal with foreign invaders they didn't invite in, and live in unfathomable infrastructure they didn't even use yet. Because until you can, their solution is what they're going with and having someone splutter at them about "growing up" is just twisted.

Sure adopt sane finicial policies, vote for those who support them like we just did.

Work hard at what you are skilled in and improve your small piece of the world everyday and hope to leave better knowing your you can make it better, be the tough generation.

Most importantly have faith in God in all things.

What I know for sure is your attitude garuntees more misery and can never improve anything.

"Gen Z are becoming ...."

Semi-literate journalism dropout or pompous Wanna-Be British? "Gen Z" is a singular entity and takes the singular verb, i.e., "Gen Z is."

Then further down she changes to grammatical number, which is the style promoted by both the Chicago and AP style manuals:

"...Gen Z is spending...." (emphasis added).

It is the biological imperative. It is the one of the few constants across all species.

Everything about us, from the amount of time of a human lifespan, to the way we think, is geared towards our perpetuation. The fact that Western civilization is failing at this is more of a fundamental than people in Africa being unable to feed themselves.

It literally doesn't matter in the long term how rich or happy we are as a species if we can't regenerate. No one will care if we die if there is no one left who remembers us. The people who will tell you this are usually hardcore atheists, yet that demographic seems to be the least likely to procreate.

I understand that it is very difficult to get into vet school, as there are not many of them. I also know that vets make a whole lot of money, with a tiny fraction of the malpractice risk of a human doctor.

I’ve got 14 examples in the first page of your posts that suggest you are a leftist.

There are NO examples suggesting you are a conservative.
