I watched the video. Sounded like whoever she was with, assume boyfriend, asked the guy to stop calling her a dump c..t. Dude then doubled down calling her an ugly dumb c..t. Boyfriend’s response was then “cool, cool.” That made no sense to me. If you’re going to confront the guy, you gotta launch at the point he doubled down. At least get the smack talk going if you’re not willing to fight at that point.
She’ll for sure dump him, if he was a boyfriend.

In the old days many states had “fighting words” laws. You were legally allowed to answer fighting words with fists.

I don’t know what it’s like today. But I think the boyfriend played it right. He’s not a cop (evidently). There is no purpose in escalating here, except to satisfy one’s ego. In my younger days I certainly would not have said all that.

But with age comes wisdom.

And as a side point, years ago I attended a talk given by a Japanese karate master. He first talked about two important defensive techniques: distance and de-escalation.

I was disappointed. I expected fancy reverse punches, and stuff like that. But yeah, he was right.

I’m guessing the Green Bay fans were completely unprepared for what they faced in Filthydelphia, where the average sports fan is somewhere around an Australopithecus on the evolutionary scale.

From what I’ve heard, Green Bay Packers fans are the most decent and classy of any major sports team. A couple of friends of mine traveled out there to see a game as fans of the visiting team. As they walked through the parking lots before the game with their “enemy” jackets and hats, they were treated as welcome guests by every group of tailgaters they passed.
