A neighbor’s Ring doorbell footage captures the moment a group of officers walk down the hall, where they encounter the man, who is not visible in the footage.
Muffled voices can be heard in the clip, though their exact exchange is difficult to decipher. Deputy Chief Rohan Griffith said in a late Sunday press conference that cops repeatedly demanded that the man drop the knife.

Yes, that’s something worth knowing. But the Tueller Drill assumes that the good guy has either no weapon or a holstered weapon.
It does not apply when the good guy is pointing a gun right on the knife guy.
What’s the danger distance in such a case? I’m aware of no such study. But it’s got to be way less than 21 feet.
She was advancing on him. He was not advancing on her. I’ll stick with my assessment.
