Trump has no choice due to the realities on the battlefield….St Z has already stated he “ may” have to give up territories ( the ethnic Russian provinces). Good night Ukraine….it appears Trumps ending the war in a day has changed- he now states 100 days.

The only thing that matters for Trump is that the failed proxy war in Ukraine and taxpayer funding of it ends so it isn't a distraction to his agenda.

Russia will keep every inch territory it possesses.

Pooty has a BIG problem. 10% of the Ukrainian population is more than enough to support a very grim and effective pseudo-guerilla / asymmetric war against Russia, and, such a war would not need US financing (which is in any case LESS than Euro financing.) Trump is pushing NATO countries to go to 5%(!) of GDP for defense spending: I don’t think he’ll get that, but, even if the Euro’s get to 3.5% (the figure cited by the German Defense Ministry), that is a huge change in the equation, when most of NATO was under 2% and much of it under was spending under 1.5% a few years ago. So, Pooty will have a very ugly, VERY big, well financed, and technically advanced guerilla war on his hands. Russia can’t accept anything but a very weak Kyiv, so, he’ll get little help there. He can only defeat this by using techniques that make the Chechen wars look tame: Ie., a REAL genocide, not the mamby-pamby stuff we see in Gaza that gets called “genocide”.

Good luck with that. The partisans will gnaw away on Russia’s energy infrastructure while the sanctions bite ever deeper - and do note that India and China are so far abiding by the latest round of sanctions, which is a significant development.
