Some people are calling Notre Dame v. THE Ohio State University the Lou Holtz Bowl. For 2nd year in the row, no south of Mason-Dixon teams is in the championship game. THE Ohio State University is 9.5 points favorite over the Domers.

The Buckeyes are almost as good as Michigan.

Overhyped in the game’s beginning. Made me wonder what’s up. OSU had plenty of studs on defense. Why single this guy out?

...and Michigan is almost as good as Indiana.

Yoy saw the play right?

Why single this guy out?
Maybe because he made the play that won the game?

There was a team in the SEC, who lost their starting QB, yet still beat Texas twice this year. It is what it is.

Why single him out?
What Sawyer did was like hitting a grand slam in baseball. He punched the ball out, sacked the QB, scooped up the ball, ran 83 yards, and scored a touchdown. I’ve never seen it happen like this by ONE player before. Unheard of. Epic.
The timing was critical too. It was 4th down. His singular play changed the game in an instant.

Texas’ right tackle totally failed by letting Sawyer fly around him.

“THE Ohio State University is 9.5 points favorite over the Domers.”
None of that matters. The score is 0-0 and both teams are very good and will give it all they have.
Go Buckeyes!

And 10 years from now 99.99999% of the world’s population will not remember that that game ever happened.

That’s why he has a scholorship too. He put a great fake on the tackle. The refs tried to give the game to TX.

What happened to Georgia in the Sugar Bowl? Notre Dame outplayed them in every way.

Very, very true. Even today, 99.99999% of the world’s population doesn’t know and doesn’t care, much less in 10 years.

4 evenly matched teams with 4 mediocre quarterbacks is what we have seen the past two nights. Riley looks like he is the smartest and luckiest of the set, none of whom are NFL caliber.

True but to 99.99999% of Buckeye fans, he is now legend. For a kid that grew up there, wanting to be a Buckeye, this moment will be remembered in Columbus.

I think it’s going to be great game, and closer than what the spread is. Notre Dame has a lot of heart, as do the Buckeyes. Marcus Freeman is a very good coach. Still, I’ll be pulling for the Buckeyes. We’ll see soon enough.
