After 26 yeras at NBC, Hoda Kotb's final episode on the Today show aired on Friday, January 10 - however viewers were left fuming over an unwanted interruption to the 'hoda-bration.'
The legendary anchor, 60, was presenting her last show she prepares to leave the program after nearly three decades at the network when the program cut to breaking news of Donald Trump.
Trump, 78, was officially sentenced in the New York hush money case involving porn star Stormy Daniels on Friday, with the news interrupting Kotb's last episode of Today on NBC.
Furious fans took to social media to share their outrage.
'Trump's sentencing interrupting hoda's last show i'm going to scream this is a new low,' one scathing post to X, formerly known as Twitter, read.
'Sorry… my final hodabration was interrupted by breaking news about TRUMP IM GOING TO GO CRAZY BRING BACK MY HODA AND JENNA,' agreed another.
'They cut into Hoda and Jenna (Hoda’s last show) to give an update about Trump’s sentencing and I’ve never seen a special report where they read so fast. I wonder if NBC News was like “get back to Hoda ASAP!!!”' complained another.

These people are such retards. Interrupt what was apparently a week-long goodbye fest in the final moments to tell us that Trump is sentenced to nothing at all only because it means so much to tell us he's now a convicted felon.
And we've known this exact conclusion was coming for a week.

Every now and then, local daytime network programming in Houston will be preempted for a live police chase. I haven’t seen those, but conservative radio talk show host Michael Berry has played recordings of irate callers snarling to the station about missing “General Hospital.” These people get *really mad.*
She started working at NBC 26 years ago, about the same time I banished ALL the major network news programs from my life.
I have been watching CNBC Business News since the late 1990s, so maybe I have seen some of her news reporting there.
