Russia has expressed support for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's willingness to resolve issues through dialogue, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
He reaffirmed Russian President Vladimir Putin's readiness to engage in talks with Trump, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.
-snip-
Peskov said Putin had repeatedly stated his willingness to hold talks with international leaders, including Trump.
"No conditions are required for this, (only) a mutual desire and political will to conduct a dialogue and resolve existing problems through dialogue is required," he said.
"We see that Mr. Trump also declares his readiness to resolve problems through dialogue, we welcome this."
Peskov said there were no specific plans for a meeting yet, but that Russia was working on the assumption that both sides were open to it. "Apparently, after Mr. Trump enters the Oval Office, there will be some movement."

ADULT men talk to each other to try to resolve problems, adult women don’t, but thankfully that ends in 10 days.
Putin begging President Trump for an off-ramp for his botched 3 day invasion.
“Putin begging President Trump for an off-ramp for his botched 3 day invasion.”
You’re giving yourself away by not seeming to understand my reference to adult MEN.
Trump should ask Zelensky and Putin to do an off-site at Mar a Lago and get this straightened out. Probably would take an afternoon.
Putin really feeling the heat from skyrocketing vodka prices in the Motherland, particularly before Drunk Russian New Year next week.

10 Days left, then what. Start opposing Trump on FR and you’ll need a new home for your spamming articles.
Putin isn’t allowed to travel to the U.S. or Europe. Meeting would most likely be in Turkey.
The unhinged Putinists demanding that President Trump throw a victory parade for Putin in Kyiv will be the ones to keep an eye on in 10 days.
10 DAYS!
Russia never would have attacked Ukraine if Trump were in office. Trump is a strong president who also is willing to sit down and negotiate.
Biden long had wheelings and dealings with Ukraine, and he made his hatred for Putin well known. Then, when he took office and botched the Afghanistan withdrawal, Putin saw how weak he was.
“Trump should ask Zelensky and Putin to do an off-site at Mar a Lago and get this straightened out. Probably would take an afternoon.”
The problem is that even if Zelensky could agree with Putin to end the war, Zelensky would have to have his family in a safe country at that time (maybe bring them along to Mar a Lago), as no one of his klan could ever go back to Ukraine, as they would get whacked by the Azovs.
“Then, when (Biden) took office and botched the Afghanistan withdrawal, Putin saw how weak he was.”
That was probably a factor, but Trump wouldn’t have provoked the Russians to nearly the level that Biden did, if at all. So, in the end, yes, no war, and no need for at least a million Slavs to have been killed or maimed.
Biden family took more bribes from the Moscow mayor’s wife than from Burisma and she’s still exempt from US sanctions.
Biden also gave Putin the green light to invade Ukraine in a “minor incursion” but Putin and his crappy army botched the whole deal.
(((PING!)))
To be added to the zeeper follies pinglist, ping me bro... we need laughter!
OUCH!
That must’ve hurt.

I’m pretty certain that Putin isn’t just trolling around looking for “weakness” so he can invade countries. The USA under Biden actively provoked Russia via Ukraine. That is the main reason this would have never happened under Trump.
I wandered onto this thread and posted my impression. But, the rest of you know more about this subject than I do. I’m just relieved that Trump will be in office.
